Climate change is improving French wine -- for now

A new study suggests that climate change could contribute to better-quality wine vintages, up to a certain point. The research analyzed decades of wine critic scores from Bordeaux and found that good years were characterized by warmer temperatures, greater seasonal differences, and shorter growing seasons. However, climate change also exposes vineyards to more extreme events such as fires, frost, and hail storms.
