Cyclone Midhili weakened into a depression, resulting in no fresh rainfall in Tripura and Mizoram. The cyclonic storm crossed the Bangladesh coast and lay east-southeast of Tripura's capital, Agartala. Skies were clear in Mizoram and overcast in Tripura, but neither state received any rain since Saturday morning. No damages have been reported. In anticipation of heavy rain, the Tripura government declared a holiday for schools and anganwadi centres.
